HAVE YOUR SAY: VICTORIAN RECREATIONAL BOATING STRATEGY

Posted on

Better Boating Victoria (BBV) are developing the Recreational Boating Strategy to address the issues faced by recreational boaters and prioritise future investment into the sector.

In January and February this year, BBV asked boaters to identify their boating priorities for Victoria. This feedback was analysed and divided into eight districts. Now, boaters are being asked to confirm which of these priorities are most important to ensure they are built into the draft strategy.

The eight boating districts that Victoria is divided into are: Wimmera & Mallee, South West, North Central, Goulburn Broken, Port Phillip & Westernport, North East, South & Central Gippsland and East Gippsland.

To gain feedback, BBV are hosting community drop-in sessions across Victoria. For those who can’t make the drop-in sessions, BBV will be conducting a survey for each of the districts which can be completed via the Engage Victoria website

Consultation closes 17 May 2021.
